When I accepted the nomination to be a part of the2022 Man & Woman of the Year campaign to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), I knew it would be a way to impact the staggering cost of health care in this country, where a cancer diagnosis can mean bankruptcy.
Not only does LLS work on the policy we need at the federal level, but they also run an incredible patient aid program. In fact, last year the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society provided over $5.2 million in Co-Pay assistance to Arizona patients and over $125,000 in travel assistance.
