John, we just wanted to make sure you saw the news — we're endorsing Stacey Abrams in her 2022 bid for Georgia governor.
What began as the Georgia WFP's support for Stacey Abrams' first gubernatorial run didn't end there — we stuck around. We planted roots in the community because we're playing for keeps, investing in and electing women and nontraditional candidates who often don't get the support they need and deserve.
This is a full circle moment for our movement, and we absolutely have the infrastructure to elect this unapologetic fighter for working people in Georgia. But we're also clear-eyed about the impact of the GOP's attacks on voting rights in the state — we have our work cut out for us, John. Can you rush a contribution of $3 or any amount to help the Working Families Party keep up the fight for Stacey Abrams and other Georgia WFP candidates in the months ahead?

Subject: Big news: We're all-in for Stacey Abrams (again)
John, big news: We're endorsing WFP champion Stacey Abrams in her 2022 bid for Governor of Georgia!
Stacey needs no introduction. After running a groundbreaking, multiracial gubernatorial campaign in 2018 that smashed voter registration records and earned more votes statewide than any prior Democratic candidate for office in Georgia until Biden in 2020 — all in the face of massive voter suppression — we're thrilled Stacey isn't giving up the fight for working people in the Peach State.
WFP has been organizing in Georgia for five years now and growing rapidly — and we're well-positioned to play a critical role in mobilizing the high turnout we'll need to help Stacey win. But we also know what we're up against — and that we absolutely cannot do it without you.
Can you make a contribution of $3 or any amount to the Working Families Party to help us power Stacey and other GA WFP candidates to victory? Georgia Republicans have only doubled down on their voter suppression tactics since 2018 — we need to be ready for anything:

Here's where our movement has been in Georgia — and why we have what it takes to help Stacey win:
Since GA WFP activists started organizing in support of Stacey's successful 2017 primary bid, we've worked to build progressive political infrastructure across the state — supporting candidates up and down the ballot and training more than 100 candidates, campaign managers, and political staffers — with a focus on Black women, women of color, and non-binary people.
These efforts have yielded a powerful network of volunteers, activists, and newly elected officials who moved mountains on the ground — culminating in millions of voter contacts made throughout the 2020 general election and the 2021 Senate runoff elections that delivered the House, Senate, and White House to Democrats.
It's clear: the power of the multiracial working class has never been stronger in Georgia. We're winning, and we're here to stay. But we're also ready to finish the first race we started, which will require doubling our voter contact attempts from previous elections.
That's why we're asking: Can you help us get out the vote for Stacey and other GA WFP candidates with a contribution of $3 or any amount today? What we're able to accomplish depends on your grassroots support.
In solidarity,
