On behalf of our National Board of Directors, I’m excited to announce that from May 4-6, 2023 supporters from across the country will join our Liberal team for our 2023 Liberal National Convention, in Ottawa!

This event will bring together Liberals like never before for policy discussions, special keynote speakers, innovative campaign training, and the election of the party’s next National Board – as we continue to grow our party and the most open and inclusive political movement in Canada.

And with new virtual participation elements, this will be an exciting opportunity to be part of something big and play an active role in shaping the future of our party and Canada. I hope to see you there!

Last year, Canadians chose to send our strong, progressive team of Liberal MPs back to work with a clear mandate to keep Canada moving forward — for everyone. With the work ahead laid out in Budget 2022, our Liberal team is ready to continue taking strong action to make life more affordable, grow the economy and the middle class, and deliver real results for Canadians.

After consultation following the 2021 convention and campaign, our party’s National Policy Committee has finalized the latest update to our Open Policy Process.

Our updated Policy Development Guidelines lay out how you’ll be able to share your ideas and policy resolutions in the months ahead – and how you’ll be able to have your say and vote on policy priorities both at our National Convention and before it begins.

ARE YOU A CANADIAN WITH A LOVE OF POLITICS?

Our team is looking for talented young Canadians to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table during our 2022 Liberal Internship Program.

Interns will have the opportunity to work on Justin Trudeau’s team and become the next generation of leaders in the largest, most open, and most inclusive movement in Canadian politics.
