On March 31st, Jared joined colleagues on both sides of the aisle in voting for the bipartisan Affordable Insulin Now Act. This builds on Jared’s strong record of advocating for patients – from introducing a bill that sought to punish pharmaceutical companies for their outrageous price hikes, to calling out Big Pharma’s scare tactics that were flooding American airwaves and misleading voters.
This is an issue that hits close to home – nearly 1 in 10 Mainers lives with diabetes. The Affordable Insulin Now Act becoming law would bring much-needed financial relief to thousands of Maine families.
