The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee just announced their list of Frontline Democrats – Democrats whose seats are vital to maintaining our House majority in 2022.

I’m not just one of the Frontline Democrats – I’m one of the most vulnerable candidates among them.

Being a Frontliner means winning VA-02 is absolutely essential to keeping our Democratic House majority.

But Republicans know this too, so they’ll stop at nothing to defeat me. The National Republican Congressional Committee is already targeting my race with attack ads, and former Republican Congressman Scott Taylor endorsed one of my opponents.

I’m reaching out today because we need to send a strong message that we’re ready to defend this seat – no matter what.

Thanks to redistricting, VA-02 got a lot more competitive. In fact, it’s the most competitive House race in the entire country.

Some folks don’t believe that we can hold this seat – but those are the same folks who thought this team couldn’t flip VA-02 back in 2018.

The support of everyone on this grassroots team made the difference in that race, and we ended up winning by less than 6,000 votes. This time around it could be even closer.
