As you may know, democracy is under attack all across America and especially here in Georgia. At the federal level, Republicans filibustered critical legislation that would have protected voting rights and shored up our elections against interference. In Georgia, Brian Kemp signed a brutal voter suppression law last year, which cruelly banned actions as simple as giving food and water to those waiting in long lines to vote.

November’s midterm elections will decide whether a Republican Party dedicated to undermining our democracy can continue to suppress our right to vote, or whether we can flip the governorship and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

This is why we’re reaching out to you in particular, friend; we know that you won’t stand by and do nothing while Republicans attack our democracy.
