In 2018, this team did what the pundits told us was impossible. We defeated a four-term Republican incumbent, and Lauren made history as the youngest Black woman ever elected to Congress. Then in 2020, we overcame mountains of outside spending and right-wing attacks, winning one of the closest races in the nation by just 5,374 votes. And it’s clear that winning this election won’t be any easier.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has named Lauren a top-target. Five right-wing opponents have jumped into our race to defeat us. And the attacks have already begun to roll in.

We know this team has what it takes to win, but only if we show up and make those critical investments early — not just a month or two before Election Day. That’s why our campaign started communicating with voters earlier than ever before this cycle, and why we’re ramping up our voter outreach and organizing efforts right now — in fact, we just opened two new field offices in our district!

But running a campaign like this takes a lot of resources. That’s why early donations (especially early monthly donations) are so important to our campaign.
