The bad news: Latinas make up less than 3% of the members of Congress and only 1% in the Senate.

The good news: We just unveiled our 2022 class of our First Latinas program to increase Latina representation up and down the ballot by supporting Latina candidates who would be the first elected in their seats.

Latinas have the power to create meaningful, positive change in office, but they often lack access to resources. That’s why we are working to help them run robust campaigns to win.
