Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Department of Justice to investigate the abortions of five babies whose bodies were recovered by pro-life activists from an abortion clinic. ** James Continues to Fight to Secure Our Border

James has been clear to the Biden Administration--our border is in absolute chaos because of the failed policies from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and it's time to secure the border and follow US law. This week, James continued to take action to actually solve the problems at the border. A member of the Homeland Security Committee, he pushing to hold a hearing on the Biden Administration’s plan to lift Title 42 in May – as the decision faces bipartisan pushback and as Republicans on the committee warn of an "unconscionable" migrant surge. He also introduced legislation that would prevent the Administration from lifting Title 42, the last barrier in place to rapidly expel illegal border crossers, until DHS has a plan to stop the chaos.

** James Votes NO on Biden's Supreme Court Nominee

James voted no on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court this week. He said to Team Lankford, "This is a lifetime appointment to the highest court of the land tasked with protecting and upholding our US Constitution. Our Constitution is not adaptable. Our Constitution has endured and stood the test of time. Judge Jackson's responses and the record have demonstrated that she is not committed to the Constitution as written as her judicial philosophy."
