Hello,
One-third of American adults who need medication don’t take it because
it’s too expensive.
Health care is a human right. But Big Pharma is constantly raising
prices at a pace patients can’t keep up with. No family should be forced
to choose between their medicine and putting groceries on the table.
[ [link removed] ]Peter’s fighting back—and he needs our help. If you haven’t already,
please add your name to our petition telling Congress to finish the job
and lower the cost of prescription drugs.
This is a fight Peter continues to champion. We’ve come close time and
time again. So many lawmakers siding with Big Pharma want this to fail,
but there are so many commonsense steps Congress can take to ease this
burden, including:
* Capping the out-of-pocket cost of insulin at $35 per month.
* Limiting pharmaceutical companies from raising prices beyond the rate
of inflation.
* Directly lowering out-of-pocket drug costs for seniors.
But we need to keep fighting side by side to get it done.
[ [link removed] ]Health care is a right, not a privilege. And it’s long past time to
deliver for seniors and families across the country. Add your name right
away to say you agree with Peter: Congress must lower prescription drug
prices.
There’s a lot of work to do, but together, we can get it done.
Thanks for adding your name,
Team Welch
