If longtime environmental activist Al Gore became president in 2001, things would probably look very different for the planet today.

We’d probably have instituted a carbon tax. We’d probably have built an electric vehicle network sooner. We’d probably be the world’s foremost authority on climate solutions.

But frankly, there’s no use in asking “what if?” Instead, we have to find solutions now and work with what we have.

That’s why we’re grateful to have President Biden and Democrats in Congress working together to combat the climate crisis – we think it’s critical that Democrats keep fighting and continue Al Gore’s legacy.
