Hi John,

Hmm…Why does my opponent support this Medicare privatization scheme? Could it be because he’s one of the top recipients of corporate healthcare donations in Congress?

Headline: "Trump Created A Program To Privatize Medicare Without Patients' Consent. Biden Is Keeping It Going. Under the program, insurers and doctors can negotiate to move patients to a private insurance stream. Patients don’t get a say."

I’ve been getting messages every day from Seniors across my district expressing how worried they are about this Medicare privatization scheme. One woman told me that it’s a matter of life and death, because if it continues, many Seniors won’t be able to afford their premiums and other healthcare costs.

I oppose the privatization of Medicare. Over one-fifth of WA-06 is 65+ years old, and we cannot afford to jeopardize their healthcare. Continuing Trump’s program to sell off Medicare to private insurance corporations would be a disaster.

Privatization worsens health outcomes for Seniors, because it takes away their medical choice. Seniors’ health is more important to me than lining the pockets of private equity firms and Wall St CEOs. Seniors don’t need corporate middlemen getting between them and their doctor.

I stand with Physicians for a National Health Program and Rep Pramila Jayapal in opposing the enrichment of healthcare CEOs at the expense of Seniors. I stand with Medicare. I stand with our Seniors.

We need to improve and expand Medicare, not privatize it. Chip in now if you can, so I can fight for Medicare in Congress. [[link removed]]
