I’m asking for your help to re-elect my friend and colleague, Jared Golden, to represent Maine’s competitive 2nd District in Congress.

Let me tell you why I’m asking: Maine’s 2nd District is a toss-up, and I really mean that. Jared literally won by just 1%, and the results took weeks to certify. It took a massive groundswell of grassroots supporters like you to flip this district, and Jared’s going to need you standing with him again.

Jared has never been one to run from a challenge. He served multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, then came home to serve Maine in the State Legislature. In the 2018 midterms, he jumped into a race that he knew was going to be one of the toughest in the country. Dark money groups and super PACs spent millions against Jared in support of a Trump loyalist. They’re going to try the same strategy again in 2020 -- they’ve already begun recruiting candidates and planning attacks on Jared.
