John,
Recently, Marie's opponent said that "a little bit of inflation would actually be a good thing."
Today, we'd challenge Sean Casten to say that to the millions of families grappling with higher prices at the grocery store and gas pump. Folks are struggling right now, and they deserve better than an out-of-touch former fossil fuel CEO who thinks he knows better than them.
The people of IL-06 need a representative who's committed to delivering real economic relief, leveling the playing field, and taking on special interests so that we can lower food, gas, and drug prices. That representative is Marie Newman.
While Sean Casten accepts corporate cash, Marie's running a people-driven campaign. While Casten refuses to support the Green New Deal, Marie's been unafraid to take on Big Oil. While Casten focuses on corporate-backed interests and protecting the status quo, Marie's worked with her colleagues to fight for universal health care and bold policies to strengthen our social safety net.
Casten's disregard for the working people of IL-06 is unacceptable. But his corporate allies are doing everything in their power to prop him up before the June 28 primary. We need to keep getting Marie's message out to every corner of the district – and we need the funds to keep our field team's efforts going at full speed.
Can you help us raise another $2,500 this weekend? Every contribution helps us knock on a few more doors and sway crucial votes in Marie's favor.
