We’re celebrating the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court this week. This is a historic, meaningful moment that will make our highest court more reflective of our country’s rich diversity. You can read our statement here. (And big thanks go to YOU for helping to keep the pressure on the U.S. Senate to get Judge Jackson confirmed quickly!)
As we celebrate our victories, we’re still working hard to push much needed change forward! There is still so much work to be done on making sure the priorities important to America’s families are reflected in the policies that are passed through Congress. You can make your voice heard below, including a few opportunities to share your stories with us.
We appreciate all of your efforts in signing petitions, making phone calls and showing up when necessary.
Have a great weekend.

Tell Congress that dropping child care is NOT an option!
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Child care, and our families, are in danger of being left out of the next economic package!
Right now, Congress is working on the economic reconciliation package, which should include critical child care and Pre-K investments needed to solve the ongoing child care crisis and lower costs for families, BUT reports suggest that lawmakers are considering abandoning child care and pursuing legislation without it! We cannot let that happen.
Can you double down on your commitment to push for child care by taking the actions in our toolkit linked here?
A student loan repayment pause is great, but we need President Biden to hit the DELETE button next!

Did you see the good news? President Biden just extended the pause on federal student loan repayments through August 2022!
When we organize, we win. And now it's time to push even harder for a full victory – $50k of student loan forgiveness per borrower.
It's clear that President Biden understands what a burden student debt is for families who are already doing everything in their power to make ends meet. With some more collective pressure from each of us, I'm confident we will see a full victory for student debt forgiveness and the boost it would give our economy!
With the stroke of a pen, President Biden can deliver instant relief in the form of student loan forgiveness for the women and moms that hold ⅔ of all student loan debt.
Tell President Biden to #CancelStudentDebt to boost our families & economy!
We are in DANGER of losing child care in Congress's economic package!

Congress cannot leave families behind. Senators need to hear loud and clear that child care and Pre-K MUST be included in the reconciliation package. Ensuring that child care stays in the package increases parental choice and supports a diversity of providers to expand their services by providing the resources needed.. These policies will lower costs for families and will help take the edge off of inflation by improving parents’ labor force participation and productivity.
Sign this petition telling your Senators that child care and Pre-K MUST be included in the reconciliation package!

As parents, we all want our children to grow up as healthy as possible and find their place in the world. We want our babies to thrive as they become children, teenagers, and eventually adults, and to be wholly included in our communities. But for many families who have kids and adults with disabilities, or aging family members, this shared hope can be a monumental struggle without the right kind of support and services. This is why we need Congress to take action to improve our long-term care system to enable kids and people with disabilities, as well as older adults, to stay at home and thrive in their communities.

Have you experienced wage discrimination?

Has your paycheck been impacted by unequal pay or wage discrimination? Have you been paid less than your male coworkers for discriminatory reasons?
Due to sexism, racism, and bias against caregivers, moms are typically paid just 58 cents for every dollar paid to fathers. We're working to ensure equal pay is a reality in everyone's wages and would love to hear about your experiences with this issue.
