Here in California we face a unique set of challenges as the climate crisis worsens. We are now entering wildfire season, which has grown more severe and dangerous in recent years.

Last year alone, wildfires destroyed over two million acres of land in California — and scientists are already telling us to brace ourselves for a “cataclysmic wildfire season” this year. We know what we need to do to tackle the climate crisis, and it starts with passing the Green New Deal.
