GOP Women Continue Historic Fundraising |
As reported in Punchbowl News, Elise announced that Team Elise has raised over $2 million in Q1 of 2022 for Elise for Congress, E-PAC, Elise Victory Fund, and via WinRed for targeted GOP candidates.
Team Elise has now raised over $12 million cycle-to-date and has transferred over $2 million to the NRCC. This is more than FIVE TIMES her predecessor’s NRCC and GOP candidate fundraising.
Elise said in part: “I’m proud to have the resources to not only deliver a historic re-election victory in my district but to support strong, America First fighters—a record number of GOP women, veterans, and diverse candidates— who will help take back our country this November.
With the support of thousands of small-dollar patriots from across the country, our team is starting 2022 strong to help ensure a historic Republican Majority that Fires Nancy Pelosi once and for all to Save America.”
Congratulations to GOP Women who announced strong fundraising quarters: - Rep. Ashley Hinson: Over $950,000
- Anna Paulina Luna: Over $400,000

USA TODAY Opinion: Conservative women are used to unequal treatment. We're successful in spite of it.
|
Theresa Olohan’s recent opinion piece in USA Today reflects on the recent Supreme Court hearings which showed favoritism towards Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson in stark contrast to the hearings for Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik made history when she defeated her incumbent rival in 2014 and became the youngest woman elected to Congress. Her background working for her family’s New York small business is similar in some ways to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s rags-to-riches story. Yet, unlike Ocasio-Cortez, she has been absent from Vogue features, women of the year lists and Met Gala debuts.
“As she’s risen in Republican leadership, she gets more scorn than admiration from the media,” Perino said of Stefanik. “Again – she doesn’t complain about it, and that’s why she’s successful.”
