AIPAC Update
Israelis are once again mourning innocent lives murdered by Palestinian terrorists.
Last night on Tel Aviv’s central Dizengoff Street, a terrorist walked up to a group of young Israelis at a bar and opened fire, killing three and seriously wounding many others.
Eitam Megini, 27 years old, was recently engaged.
Tomer Morad, Eitam's childhood friend, was 28 years old.
Barak Lopen, 35 years old and a father of three, was a former Olympian who represented Israel at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed his condolences yesterday, saying "Americans are, once again, grieving with the Israeli people in the wake of another deadly terrorist attack, which took the lives of two innocent victims and wounded many more in Tel Aviv... We are closely following developments and will continue to be in regular contact with our Israeli partners, with whom we stand resolutely in the face of senseless terrorism and violence."
Fifteen Israelis have been killed in the last three weeks.
We stand proudly with the people of Israel as they confront this wave of terrorism, and remain resolute in our commitment to ensuring the United States always supports our ally.
