At People For, we know this confirmation was the result of a hard-fought campaign to combat the Far Right’s baseless attacks, and this victory is shared by all of you. Thousands of People For members called, emailed, signed petitions and more to advocate for Justice Jackson and thanks to your tireless efforts, we did it!

As one of the most qualified and well-regarded nominees in modern history, it’s easy to see why there is such excitement around Judge Jackson’s confirmation. Not only has she earned the respect of millions around the country through her stellar credentials and even-keeled responses during her confirmation hearings, but Justice Jackson is breaking down barriers in the process.
As the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court in its 233-year history, the perspective and representation that her confirmation brings is long overdue and will no doubt shed light on important cases brought before the Court in the years ahead.
