** URGENT: Animals are being exploited in circuses across the UK, RIGHT NOW.
------------------------------------------------------------

Dear John,

You won’t believe it.

Animals are STILL being exploited in circuses across the UK. The 2022 circus season has just started, bringing animal suffering into our towns and cities.

How is this possible?

Wild animals may have be successfully banned in British circuses, but domestic animals like horses, llamas, dogs and others have been left to suffer. For some reason, they are seen as not worthy of protection to the same degree. Even though they suffer just as much.

Will you keep fighting with us until ALL animals are free from the circus?

By joining us as a Freedom Champion, your monthly gift will fund investigations into animal cruelty in circuses, track circus movements and support protest on the ground.

Night after night in the circus ring, horses are suffering. Forced to perform tricks and unnatural behaviours to entertain crowds, they suffer health problems and stress.

In between shows, they spend hours in horse boxes or tied up. Travelling miles from venue to venue. Stressed by their confinement, they weave their heads from side to side, over and over again. Some end up self-harming in their distress.

These are just some of the daily struggles horses, and other animals, experience in the circus. This life of confinement and control.

Please will you help them by becoming a Freedom Champion today? ([link removed])

It is degrading to make a horse stand on their back legs, it is shameful to force a dog to ‘wear’ a dress, stand on their back legs and push a pram. It is cruel to chase a line of ducks around a ring, with comedy music playing. It is wrong to make a dog balance on the back of a pony as they are made to move around the circus ring.

All of these things have taken place in circuses using animals. In the UK these types of act are still LEGAL.

Please help us to fight for the freedom of ALL animals exploited for entertainment.

P.S. Animals are still being exploited in circuses across the UK. Domestic animals like horses, llamas, dogs, birds and other animals have been left behind by lawmakers. But these animals suffer too.

Will you please join us as a Freedom Champion today to keep up the fight until ALL animals are free from the circus? Thank you. ([link removed])
