Friend,

Donald Trump is coming to North Carolina on Saturday to hold a rally for Ted Budd — his hand-picked candidate in this Senate race.

That’s not all. They just announced that Madison Cawthorn will be joining them on stage as well.

Ted’s campaign is flailing. Trump, Ted Budd’s super PAC, and multiple GOP insiders have all said as much to reporters. So this is a clear effort to prop up his campaign, fire up the far-right base, and pretend that their brand of divisive politics is what the people of North Carolina want.

So we have to be prepared for anything. Trump is coming to North Carolina and may even attack our campaign. Ted Budd may have his super PACs spending $14 million dollars to buy this seat.

The good news is we have each other, and if we are in this together, we will be ready for anything they throw our way.

Can you please split a donation of $25 between my campaign and Debbie Stabenow before Donald Trump gets here for his rally with Ted Budd and Madison Cawthorn? Every dollar will help us flip this seat and expand the Senate majority for Democrats.

I believe that we can win by uniting the people and focusing on the real issues people care about — like health care, climate change, voting rights, an economy that works for everyone, and rising costs. That’s exactly what our campaign will do with your support.

Thank you for your support,

- Cheri Beasley
