John, this is troubling. 

We just got word that Kevin McCarthy raked in over $31 million in the past three months towards his efforts to retake the House. Despite all his extremism and antics, the clear special interests are still prepared to bankroll McCarthy's path to becoming Speaker. It's sickening.

Here are the facts:

1. The vast majority of this money won't be spent against us, and we don’t need to match Kevin McCarthy dollar for dollar. But we do need to meet OUR marks to run a winning campaign in this district.

2. NOTHING would embarrass McCarthy more than crushing him in his own backyard, and this campaign is our best chance to do it. We know what it takes to win. Right now, it means bringing in another 288 donations before midnight to strengthen our grassroots campaign.
