North Carolina and this race are ground zero for the Republican Party he’s trying to build ahead of 2024.

Ted Budd is his hand-picked candidate, and Trump is putting more into electing him than almost anyone else he’s endorsed. He’s coming back for his second rally tomorrow — to prop up Ted Budd’s Senate campaign with a clown car of far-right ideologues. That’s how important this race and our state are.
