And expunge nonviolent federal marijuana convictions.

Ilhan for Congress

Friends,

The War on Drugs has wreaked havoc on our communities for decades, ruining Black lives with nonviolent marjuana convictions.

Black people are nearly four times as likely to be arrested for marijuana possession than white people, despite similar usage rates. This leads to families and lives being torn apart.

Enough is enough. We need to not only make cannabis legal, but address the harm the War on Drugs has caused. Ilhan proudly supported the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act to decriminalize cannabis and expunge nonviolent federal marijuana convictions. The bill recently passed the House, and it’s headed to the Senate next.

This is a critical opportunity to rebuild our communities. Will you add your name to show the groundswell of support behind the MORE Act?
