Friend,

There’s a lot of competition for the worst member of The 147, but Paul Gosar might just take the cake.

Only days after trying to excuse his participation in a white nationalist event as a “staff error,” Gosar was announced as the featured guest at yet another function whose organizers the Anti-Defamation League describes as having white supremacist ties. On Hitler’s birthday.

When the news broke, Gosar’s staff vehemently denied that Gosar was attending and even claimed that they had no contact with the organizers. But if that’s the case, why did Gosar promote the event on his own Instagram account:

We had trouble believing Gosar’s first apology was sincere, but after this second incident, it’s becoming impossible to believe that he isn’t cozying up with neo-nazis on purpose.

White supremacists and their allies have no place in our government. Donate to our Congressional Victory Fund now to restore our democratic values.
