In fact, GOF is leading legal efforts such as fighting the unconstitutional bump stock ban and challenging so-called “assault weapons” and standard capacity magazine bans. But that's not all:

* In our nation's capital, GOF helped challenge the city's stringent restrictions on concealed carry in Wrenn v. DC (2018). In this landmark case, GOF argued that judges have no authority to use a “balancing test” approach to Second Amendment rights. The D.C. Circuit agreed, ruling that the city’s “good reason” requirement for concealed carry permits is unconstitutional.

* In Connecticut, GOF helped challenge the use of a red flag Gun Confiscation Order that was used to disarm a gun owner. Our in-state attorney, handling the case, was successful in getting the lower court’s opinion overturned in the state court of appeals. And eventually, the firearms were returned to the gun owner.
