Reflecting on CLASP’s 50th Anniversary

Last week we capped off CLASP’s 50th Anniversary with a sold-out gala in Washington. Nearly 250 CLASP alumni, staff, partners, and community activists came together to celebrate our accomplishments and look ahead to our future. We were honored to have Annie E. Casey Foundation President Lisa Hamilton, National Domestic Workers Alliance Executive Director Ai-jen Poo, UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguia, U.S. Representative Donna Shalala, and Brothers at Bard founder Dariel Vasquez join us as featured speakers.

"The stakes could not be higher...on the other side...is the multiracial democracy we deserve,” said Ai-jen Poo.
