It may not be Easter yet but here's a date for your diary as Nottingham’s premiere Christmas attraction is back for 2022!
What's On Weekly subscribers can enjoy access to the advance pre-sale which means the very first chance to book your preferred dates and time slots now before everybody else - prior to general sale which will open on Monday 11 April at 12 noon.
As twilight descends this December, Christmas at Wollaton takes over the hall and gardens, once again transforming the grounds into a magical wonderland with a brand new illuminated light trail, which is set once again to delight visitors of all ages.
Plus, if you are a Nottingham City Council resident you will once again enjoy a 10% saving on tickets for Christmas at Wollaton 2022. With limited discounted resident tickets available for each time slot. Just have your 8-digit council tax account number ready when booking and see the website for more details.

This irresistibly funny show has been thrilling audiences all around the world and now returns to Nottingham this April.

Nottingham Castle
Four days of circus-themed Easter fun are coming to Nottingham Castle with a jam-packed programme of activities for visitors of all ages during the bank holiday weekend.
Circus entertainers will roam the grounds alongside interactive circus workshops for all.
Plus, for those on the hunt for eggs, explorers can search the grounds, collect a letter from each egg, and claim a chocolate treat from the Castle Visitor Centre.

Nottingham Contemporary
The Screen at Contemporary returns with Jules et Jim: (1962) Cert 12A.
Set in the years before and after the First World War we follow best friends Jules and Jim. They meet, and subsequently fall in love with the free-spirited Catherine, creating the ultimate cinematic ménage à trois.
At the time this was radical in both form and content. The film explores love, desire, and loyalty with all of its complicated and ridiculous beauty.

Wollaton Hall and Deer Park
There's plenty to do at Wollaton Park this Easter break...
Traditional Rides present a vintage funfair with all the old favourites for you to ride while listening to the greatest hits from the 50’s and 60’s.
Or, join an Easter egg hunt with a difference as you search for dinosaur eggs. Find the eggs and unscramble the letters to complete the punchline and win a prize. Trail sheets are £2 and are available at shops and cafés.
Plus, if you grab a ticket for the Titus: T.rex is King exhibition, you can see a real dinosaur at the end of the trail!

National Ice Centre
Hit the ice this Easter with a great holiday line-up of ice-related fun.
On Saturdays, enjoy probably the only ice skating foam party in the UK
Enjoy public skating sessions every day of the Easter holidays.
If you've never skated before, don't miss popular intensive skating lessons - a six-week skating course in just three days.
Or, for the very little ones, you can join a parent and tots skate on Mondays and Fridays where the rink is exclusively for under fives.

Newstead Abbey
As Spring has sprung, there's a treat in store for all Garden lovers at Newstead Abbey this Easter.
As well as the famed gardens, you can visit the Ethel Webb's Japanese Garden exhibition which features a series of botanic illustrations loaned from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.
The exhibition runs alongside Journeys from Japan which showcases some of Nottingham City Museums’ own collection in a trail around the house highlighting the Webb’s love of Japanese culture.
As you head outside, Ethel and Geraldine Webb have hidden treasure from Japan in the gardens for the kids too!

The smash hit Spontaneous Potter is an entirely improvised wizarding comedy play, based on suggestions from the budding witches, wizards and their families in the audience. Hilarity ensues as entirely new Potter adventures are magically improvised on the spot – with live musical accompaniment!
There's a show for the kids (8+), and one just for adults (16+)
