I happen to know a few genuine heroes. In my book, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is the definition of today's hero.

Do not forget: This is the same President Zelensky who Donald Trump tried to withhold Javelin missiles from unless Zelensky opened a fake investigation into Joe Biden.

And that is the same phone call that got Trump impeached the first time. The same phone call my Republican opponent Senator Chuck Grassley agreed was “perfect.”

Trump and Grassley sided with Vladimir Putin for 4 years – and now, we are seeing an emboldened Russia rearing its ugly head.

When I defeat Chuck Grassley this November and turn Iowa blue, I will be the most senior military person ever-elected to the United States Senate. You can be sure I’ll always side with democracy and those defending democracy.

Mitch McConnell’s Super PACs are already readying millions of dollars in attacks, but I’m not taking a dime in corporate PAC money, so I’m counting on grassroots donors like you if we’re going to fight back and win.
