Friend, it is a good day in America – because, today, we celebrate Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's historic confirmation as the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court.

As a senator, I am honored to have cast my vote in her favor and played a small part in history. And as the father of a young Black girl, I am humbled to watch Judge Jackson step into this moment and create a more inclusive and equitable America right before our very eyes.

Judge Jackson's confirmation is a stark reminder that the moral arc of history bends towards justice – but only if we push. At this critical moment, the American people need us to push, because the GOP is leading an all-out assault on the very foundation of our democracy.

Let me be clear, friend: These aren't just political failures – these are moral failures. And right now, we have an obligation to act – to keep pushing. We can build a country that works for all of us, but only if we do it standing shoulder to shoulder with one another. That's why I need your help.

Senate Republicans say that Judge Jackson wouldn't have even received a hearing had their party been in control – so I mean it when I say the stakes of the upcoming elections have never been higher. We must do everything in our power to defend our razor-thin Democratic majority.

But experts at Politico say our race could decide Senate control, and CNN is calling me the most vulnerable Democratic senator on the ballot. Republicans have funneled nearly $10 million into the campaign coffers of my potential pro-Trump opponent, and polls show me 1 point behind.

So please, friend, I need you to join me in this fight: Will you give $5 or more now to keep Georgia and the Senate blue so we can secure the future of our democracy and build a country that works for us all?
