All of us here at Team DAGA would like to congratulate Ketanji Brown Jackson on becoming the first Black woman to be confirmed to the Supreme Court. This is a big step in American history, and her swearing-in will be a huge step forward for representation in the American justice system.
Democratic AGs have been constant in their support for Judge Jackson from the day that she was nominated by President Biden. Throughout her confirmation hearings, Judge Jackson demonstrated that she will not only make an outstanding Justice, she will also work to ensure equal justice under the law as she’s done throughout her long career as a jurist. We couldn’t be more proud of the outcome of today’s vote.
