The Senate just voted to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court!

Today marks a huge step in our nation’s march toward a more perfect union.

Judge Jackson brings an unparalleled understanding of the justice system as the only public defender ever confirmed to the Supreme Court.

And as the first Black woman ever confirmed to the Court, Judge Jackson joins trailblazers like Harriet Tubman, Fannie Lou Hamer, Shirley Chisholm, and others who have been at the forefront of fighting for a more just democracy.
