Hi John,
I am so excited to be sending this email. NIAC is celebrating its 20th anniversary!
It's hard to believe, but NIAC has been around for 20 years. In that time, we've done a great deal. I'm not going to summarize everything because this email will drag on, but let me highlight a few things we did. We avoided cataclysmic war with Iran several times, we fought for an Iran nuclear deal, and after Trump repealed it, we're fighting once again to restore it. We also launched NIAC Action and our federal NIAC Action PAC who are doing important work electing pro-peace and pro-diplomacy leaders to all levels of office.
I'm incredibly proud of what we have done to lift up the voices of our community. In 2002, Iranian Americans had very little say in the policies being made in Washington, D.C. Now, in 2022, we have a seat at the table and have robust relationships with hundreds of leaders and the White House. That's because of you.
Now, with our 20th-anniversary celebrations underway, we're dead set on expanding our work and political power. Young people are at the heart of our strategy so we can shape the next 20 years of NIAC. Progress ebbs and flows, but we know that it always nets positive with time. That's why in the weeks and months ahead, we're going to be unveiling our 20th-year plans. They are bold just like our mission 20 years ago was bold: to give voice to a community without one.
John, can you help us ring in our 20th-year anniversary celebrations by making a monthly gift to NIAC. Big or small, it will help shape the future of this organization. Your donation is also 100% tax-deductible. [[link removed]]
