In the past few weeks, Team Ramos hit a significant accomplishment. Together, we finished up petitioning, collecting over three times the needed signatures. 

Cold winter days and long canvassing shifts had nothing on our volunteers this season. While I was in Albany, advocating for my constituents, I knew I could rely on the army of volunteers at home to keep this grassroots movement growing. I could not be more grateful and excited to celebrate the #VamosRamos team this National Volunteer Month!

While I’ve been up in Albany these past few weeks fighting for working families, I’ve had a rollercoaster of emotions: pride, anger, determination, and, frankly, exhaustion. 

But the one feeling that always rises to the top is a deep sense of gratitude. None of the work accomplished this year, whether in Albany or on Roosevelt Ave, would be possible without our volunteers’ invaluable amounts of time, energy, and dedication. 

So thank you again for bringing the work, and the fun, to this campaign day after day.
