Last week, we closed the books on our first quarter of fundraising of 2022 and I have some great news to share with you: Thanks to the support of this incredible team, not only did we hit our goal by the deadline, we surpassed it.

Because folks like Richard from Naperville chipped in $25, David from Ottawa chipped in $10, and Janet from Aurora chipped in $25, our campaign is starting the second quarter of the year in a strong position. I couldn’t be more grateful.

When you see our campaign out and about meeting with voters across our district, or see us fight back against Republicans’ massive fundraising advantage, it’s because grassroots supporters like Richard, David, and Janet, and you have stepped up and made it all possible.

But we can’t rest our laurels just yet, not when we have such a tough fight ahead of us. So, our campaign is getting right back to work, and we’ll need this incredible team by our side every step of the way.

In a few days, my team and I will sit down to go over our priorities and strategy this month. I’d love to have your input before that meeting happens.
