I voted no on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court today.
This is a lifetime appointment to the highest court of the land tasked with protecting and upholding our US Constitution. Our Constitution is not adaptable. Our Constitution has endured and stood the test of time. Judge Jackson's responses and the record have demonstrated that she is not committed to the Constitution as written as her judicial philosophy.
I take this responsibility very seriously. This is not a vote that can be taken lightly.
I'm grateful to represent our Oklahoma values in the US Senate.
