I almost can’t believe it, but New Mexico’s 2022 primary election is just two months from now on June 7.

That means we only have two months left to travel across NM-02 to meet with voters, hold events, run ads, and do everything in our power to spread the word about our campaign so I become the official Democratic candidate to take on far-right Rep. Yvette Herrell in November.

We secured more than 80% of the vote at the New Mexico Democratic Pre-Primary Convention, but two months from today, we need enough voters to come out and show their support so we make it onto the general election ballot.

There’s a lot on the line in this toss-up race: good-paying job opportunities, action on climate change, reproductive choice, our public lands, and democracy as we know it. The path to protecting Democrats’ House majority runs right through NM-02.

I’m ready to fight for each and every one of you in Congress, but in order to do that, we have to pull out all the stops between now and June 7 so we win the primary and go on to flip this seat from red to blue.
