And yet, while crude oil prices have declined in recent weeks, gas prices remain as high as ever, and oil companies continue to pull in record profits – at the expense of American consumers.
Thankfully, the working people of Massachusetts Third District have Lori Trahan fighting for them in Washington to hold Big Oil executives accountable. During a Congressional hearing on Wednesday, Lori grilled the president of Shell over the company's purchase of an astonishing 100,000 barrels of oil from Russia at a discounted rate just days after Putin illegally invaded Ukraine.
