Beto and our team are back on the road to meet with young people across the state.
Hey, John — it's Chris coming to you with an update from the campaign trail.
Beto and our team are back on the road to meet with young people across the state. We're in Temple today and heading out to Del Rio, Laredo, and McAllen next!
I'll explain more about why this is so important in a moment, but first I have to ask: Could you chip in $3 or more right now to put gas in the van and fund our next campaign events?
During Beto's Senate run, we broke records with a historic increase in young voter turnout. In 2018, young voter turnout across Texas was up by 500% during early voting and up by more than 230% overall compared to the previous midterm election.
Students and young voters have the power to decide this election and make history in Texas. That's why we're making an unprecedented investment in organizing young voters — starting with meeting them where they're at.
Last weekend, Beto rallied with members of the Texas College Democrats in Houston and discussed our positive, unifying vision for a state where every Texan can live to their full potential.
John, it's because of supporters like you that we can make these huge investments in organizing young voters — and build the coalition it will take to bring real, needed change to Texas.
Together, we're on our way to defeating Greg Abbott. But we need to keep up this momentum if we're going to make history on Election Day. Please, will you donate $3 immediately to help us continue to organize young voters, spread our positive vision, and elect Beto as Texas' next Governor?
