We're so grateful for the ways you and your fellow supporters rise up to advocate for children. On Advocacy Day last month, our community came together to make progress for children’s rights.
At this year’s event, impassioned volunteers from around the country joined us to champion UNICEF’s work and encourage members of Congress to prioritize the rights and lives of children. Over the course of hundreds of virtual meetings, volunteers met with legislators to make the case for policies that benefit children here at home and across the world.
You can learn more about the day, meet some volunteers and hear from our team — including our CEO, Michael J. Nyenhuis, and UNICEF staff in Ukraine — in this recap of our closing ceremonies >> |
Missed Advocacy Day? There's still time to take action for children. We need more help to advance key initiatives like maintaining federal funding, passing the Keeping Girls in School Act and supporting mental health access for children in the U.S.
