Dear friends, This year, ASAN spent a great deal of time working to keep disabled people free and safe in our communities. We talk a lot about the work that we do, but there’s one thing that we never want to forget to mention - and that’s you! Everything that we do is thanks to the support of our community. We couldn’t fulfill the promise of “Nothing About Us Without Us” without “U”! We’re putting a spotlight on our amazing donors, who make it possible for us to continue fighting for all autistic people. The folks in our membership program make a regular donation to ASAN, and get perks in exchange, such as a giftcard to the ASAN shop or a copy of one of our books! We named the tiers of possible donations after different special interests. One of them is our Trivia Teammates tier. Many autistic folks love to gather and store up lots of fun facts about all the stuff they care about, and sometimes even things they don’t. They know about everything from a tiny crustacean holding the most genes to which library has the most books in the world. The impact our Trivia Teammates make is far from trivial! All our members are an integral part of the work we do. From our Easy Read toolkits to our proxy calling system, we are able to continue growing and improving our work thanks to you.
