The Senate just voted to confirm President Biden’s Supreme Court Justice nominee, making it official: Ketanji Brown Jackson will be the first Black woman to serve on the US Supreme Court.

As one of the nation’s brightest legal minds and an exceptionally qualified nominee, Judge Jackson will be an incredible addition to the Supreme Court. It has been an honor to witness this historic moment, and I’m grateful for Delaware Senators Carper and Coons who value having a government as rich in diversity as our nation.
