Over the last 20 years, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria has helped save 44 million lives and given us the tools we need to put an end to these preventable diseases for good. But the COVID-19 pandemic has threatened this progress and we need to act now to get back on track. 

With health systems overwhelmed and key services disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, there could be millions more preventable deaths from HIV/AIDs, malaria and tuberculosis. 

President Biden has just requested to Congress that the United States increase its commitment by 30% and contribute a huge $2 billion to the Global Fund per year. Let’s keep the pressure on to ensure this becomes a reality!
