BREAKING: The Senate confirms Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court!

Friend, it's Gary, and I've got some incredible news: The Senate just confirmed Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve on the Supreme Court! And I couldn’t have been prouder to have supported her nomination. Judge Jackson is extremely qualified.

Thank you so much for speaking up and standing with Judge Jackson – this victory is yours.

I'm celebrating today, but make no mistake, our work is far from over. Far-right justices like Kavanaugh and Coney Barrett still hold a majority on the court, and the right to choose is still facing an existential threat like never before.

My family intimately understands how important this issue is: Years ago, my first wife was denied a medically necessary abortion, seriously jeopardizing her own health. This was one of the most difficult and painful experiences of my life – and it's still happening to people all across the country.

So while we can celebrate today, we must continue planning our next steps forward so that we can truly protect Roe v. Wade. To get started as quickly as we can, I need to hear from you:

Even with Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation, do you believe that reproductive rights are still at risk?

When my wife's water broke at just four months, our doctor told us that our baby – who we desperately wanted – had zero chance of survival. My wife did not miscarry after waiting two nights – and she needed an abortion immediately to protect her health that was put at-risk. I cannot describe to you how soul-crushing and painful this time in my life was. It was only made worse when our hospital refused to perform the emergency procedure that our doctor knew she needed – not because of sound medical advice, but because of politics.

My wife found care elsewhere, but so many others aren't as lucky. I've shared my story because I refuse to rest until the right to choose is truly protected in every state, and until we leave these tough, incredibly personal decisions to doctors and their patients – not politicians.

To protect the right to choose, I need the majority of Americans who believe in it to stand up and fight with me. So please, make your voice heard by responding to my live opinion strategy poll right now.

Thank you for reading my story and for standing with me.
