Folks, preparing for retirement in our country is not easy.

With barriers like student loan debt and poverty in the way – it’s become increasingly difficult for young adults to begin saving for retirement.

That’s why I was proud to support the SECURE Act 2.0 to make it even easier for workers to contribute to their employer’s retirement plans – which includes my bill to allow part-time employees to begin contributing to their employer’s 401k plans earlier on.

This legislation received bipartisan support in the House. Now, it’s up to the Senate to ensure every American has what they need to prepare for retirement. Will you sign my petition to let the Senate know it's time to change how we plan for retirement? [[link removed]]

The SECURE Act 2.0 fundamentally changes how workers are able to contribute to their retirement plans.

This bill expands coverage and increases retirement savings, making it easier for Americans approaching retirement age to save. Student loan borrowers also get a boost to their retirement savings, making it easier for them to contribute.

Right now, too many of our seniors are reaching retirement age without having the savings they need to live dignified lives. I’m determined to change that, but I need your help. Will you tell the Senate to do its job and protect workers’ retirement? [[link removed]]
