As Congress and President Biden grapple with how to help the Ukrainian
people defend themselves against Russian atrocities, Fox “News" pundit
Tucker Carlson is spreading pro-Russia propaganda to turn public opinion
against them.(1)

Fox “News" has peddled lies about COVID-19 vaccines and pushed the idea
that Trump won the 2020 election, and is now endangering Ukrainians and
U.S. efforts on the ground. And every day, cable companies are streaming
these lies into millions of homes. These cable companies have a
responsibility to shut Fox News down, and Courage California is working to
pressure Comcast, Charter, and the rest to do just that. Now we need to
ramp up our campaign to get them on board.

that Comcast, Charter, and other companies drop Fox “News”?

Journalists, including two from Fox, have died trying to report on the
Russian atrocities from the ground in Ukraine.(2)

But from the comfort of his studio, Carlson has spread the lie that Hunter
Biden was involved in a Ukrainian bioweapons lab.(3) He’s falsely called
the war a “border dispute,” and called the sanctions the U.S. is putting
on Russia “unfair.”(4)

There is no doubt that Carlson’s lies are helping Russia. In fact, a
leaked memo from the Russian government directed Russian media to feature
Tucker Carlson’s show as much as possible because of how supportive he
is.(5)

Fox viewers are twice as likely to believe COVID-19 lies than those who
trust NPR, CNN, or MSNBC -- lies that have caused the pandemic to linger
on and have incited violence.(6) Now these viewers are being fed dangerous
lies about Ukraine in order to support Russia. It’s time for cable
companies to stand up for the truth.

Because of public outrage, DirecTV dropped OAN, and YouTube banned Fox
“News” pundit Dan Bongino. With enough support from our members, we can
rally more public energy and run a high-profile media campaign to convince
cable companies to drop Fox “News.” Will you chip in today?
