We’re announcing an incredibly exciting endorsement in Florida!!!

We’re proud to support Allison Miller as the next State Attorney for
Pinellas and Pasco Counties. This is a big deal,
John! Here’s why:

For the entirety of her legal career, Allison Miller has been a public
defender.

This means Allison has most often represented people who cannot afford
typical legal counsel, which can often cost between hundreds and THOUSANDS
of dollars an hour, and is reserved for the white and the wealthy.

Allison has been a champion for victims’ rights and has seen firsthand how
our current legal system often fails the most vulnerable members of our
communities.

She has co-authored legislation to prevent people with serious mental
illness from facing the death penalty.

She is on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization working to
support people who are facing the death penalty and can't afford a lawyer
— a charge that is often brought against Black and brown communities.

She is running to be the next State Attorney for Pinellas and Pasco
Counties to pursue justice, end mass incarceration, and free wrongfully
convicted people.

For the first time in 30 years, the people of Pinellas and Pasco Counties
will have a choice when it comes to deciding who their next State Attorney
will be.

Allison’s election is on August 23rd and we are doing everything we can to
