Yesterday, Ambassador Sondland testified in detail about President Trump’s corruption and bribery scheme.

He made clear that President Trump was personally directing the effort to condition aid and a White House meeting for Ukraine on investigations into the president’s political rivals to benefit his re-election campaign.

We also heard that Energy Secretary Rick Perry was both “in the loop” and may have played a role in Donald Trump’s corrupt attempted bribery of Ukraine, but he continues to ignore the Congressional subpoena.

Today I’m calling on Rick Perry to do his duty and honor the Congressional subpoena. The American people deserve to hear what he knows from him directly and under oath.

Our democracy is on the line right now, and we need to make our voices heard to protect it.

Sign my petition: Tell Rick Perry to honor the Congressional subpoena and testify to Congress. We need answers from him under oath about his involvement in Trump’s attempted bribery scheme.

When I serve in Congress, honoring our Democracy and upholding the Constitution will be among my highest obligations, but those outcomes rely on public servants like Secretary Perry to be willing to put country ahead of political party.

Our democracy is being tested. We the people have the power to save it, but only if we make our voices heard in this process.
