Like many parents, I’m tired and weary.

On a daily basis I feel like I’m drowning in anxiety from news of the pandemic, an impending world war, my family’s financial security, my children’s education, the empty shelves at the grocery store, and the list keeps going and going. “Living” shouldn’t be this difficult.

But it is for millions of Americans. How did we get here? Now, I’m not saying only families are having the hardest time. That’s far from the truth. Everywhere people are having a difficult time.

This is why I’m working hard with my team at PowerPAC to support progressive candidates of color across the nation who are fighting to make good trouble and impactful change for everyday people like you and me. Candidates who support raising the minimum wage, fighting for universal pre-k and community colleges, and making healthcare affordable for all.
