Friend, it's Gary again, because this really is such an important moment. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation process almost complete, and I'm feeling hopeful that we can win an important victory here in the fight to defend Roe v. Wade.
But with GOP attacks mounting and the slimmest possible Democratic Senate majority, nothing is guaranteed. It's incredibly important that we keep up the public pressure on my GOP colleagues during this time. So please, could you respond to this quick poll so that I can show my colleagues in the Senate you stand with Judge Jackson? I need another 573 responses as soon as possible this morning, so I'm really hoping to hear from you.

Like so many Americans, this issue is deeply personal to me. You see, when my first wife was pregnant with a child we dearly wanted, her water broke four months early. It was clear: Our baby had no chance of survival. We were devastated and completely heartbroken.
Our doctor told us her health would be in serious danger if she did not have an emergency abortion, but the hospital board still refused to make an exception to their policy prohibiting abortions. I’ll never forget the voicemail on our answering machine from our doctor in which he made clear: The refusal was based on politics, not good medical advice or practices.
We thankfully found a hospital that would perform the emergency procedure, but the exact same thing is still happening to people all across the country. And now, states like Texas and Mississippi are cracking down even harder on the right to choose. This is why it is so, so important that we stand up for Roe v. Wade at every single opportunity. So please, can you make your voice heard for Judge Jackson's confirmation and in defense of the right to choose?
